How to play

Each word joins the next to make a compound word or a common phrase.

1. Door
2. Bell doorbell
3. Hop bellhop
4. Scotch hopscotch

• You get the first word and the first letter of the next seven.
• Solve them in order. Wrong guesses cost time, nothing else.
• Stuck? A hint shows the next letter. Fewer hints, better score.
• The clock starts when you start typing. A new chain arrives at midnight.
